No Wedding-Day DIY
Laurenvale is not a DIY venue. You and your wedding party will not be expected to move furniture, set tables or pack down the reception after your celebration.
Our team takes care of the agreed setup and styling details, leaving you free to prepare at Blackwood Barn , relax with friends and look forward to your day.
Styling Your Reception
Your reception should reflect your personalities, style and love story.
You are welcome to bring your carefully selected styling items to Laurenvale. Our team will arrange the furniture, set your tables and place the agreed styling pieces before your guests enter the reception.
We will also work alongside your florist to ensure your table flowers and agreed arrangements are beautifully positioned. A complete list of the styling items we can place for you is available on our FAQ page.
Planning Something More Elaborate?

A Relaxed Bus Journey Through the Scenic Rim
A Laurenvale wedding begins with a beautiful journey through the Scenic Rim. Guests can board the bus at Aratula Tavern, relax and enjoy the countryside on their way to your celebration.
While onsite parking is available, a guest bus allows everyone to enjoy the day without driving, following directions or nominating a designated driver. It is especially convenient for guests who would like to enjoy a glass of champagne—and fewer cars is a more environmentally friendly choice.
At the end of the evening, guests are returned to Aratula Tavern, where the celebrations can continue with an optional after-party.
As a thank you, every Laurenvale couple receives a $100 complimentary Aratula Tavern drink voucher to enjoy with family and friends.
Bus travel costs approximately $25 per person, making it a safe, convenient and affordable option.
