The Venue

Do you have a wet weather option?

Absolutely. Our spacious 9 × 22 metre dining lodge provides plenty of room for your reception.

Is there a dance floor?

Yes, a dedicated dance floor additional to seated dining. This means no collapsing dining tables to create a dance space.

How many guests can Laurenvale accommodate?

120 guests without feeling cramped.

Is the venue easily accessible?

Yes - No stairs. Laurenvale offers easy, stair-free access for grandparents, elderly guests, people with disabilities and families with prams.

Two large turning areas allow vehicles to drop off and collect guests close to both the White Chapel and dining lodge.

Car parking? There is ample parking onsite.

Is accommodation available nearby?

Yes. More than 100 guest beds are available throughout Aratula and the surrounding areas.

Blackwood Barnis a wonderful place to begin, subject to availability, and LeBonne Airbnb is one minute from Laurenvale, as is Tarowood. Airbnb. Perfect for the extended family.

Blackwood Barn Suites with accommodation option.

You can start preparing from 7.30 am, you can also book accommodation for longer stays.

Are pets welcome?

Yes. Dogs are welcome to take part in your ceremony and photographs, and must exit before dinner.

Are children welcome?

Yes. Well-behaved children are most welcome but must be closely supervised at all times.

Can we have fireworks?

Sparkler farewells are welcome, using long sparklers provided by the couple. Fireworks are not permitted.

Biodegradable confetti is also welcome, glitter confetti is not sorry.

Ceremony and Reception Times

What ceremony start time do you recommend?

During winter, we recommend beginning your ceremony at approximately 2.30 pm. This ensures your photographer captures you both during golden hour.

During autumn and spring, a 3.00 pm ceremony is a great start time.

If you opt for ‘First Look’ photos you have the opportunity to join your guests pre-dinner as most of your photo have been taken.

Are Sunday weddings available?

Yes—and Sunday weddings can be wonderful! Sunday lunch weddings are wonderful too.

Tours and Bookings

How do we arrange a private tour?

Simply select “Book a Private Tour” on our website and choose an available appointment.

How do we reserve our wedding date?

Once you have toured Laurenvale, in person or via Facetime, we can book in your preferred date.

When is our final guest count due?

Your final guest count is required 3 weeks before your wedding.

Can our guests travel by minibus?

Yes :)

Planning and Coordination

Do you provide day of co-ordinator.

Yes. A co-ordinator will be present to help your wedding day run smoothly.

Co-Ordinator’s role is listed in our Bridal Guide. Both your Co-Ordinator and our Event Manager will be onsite throughout your entire day until closing.

Do we receive planning support?

Yes. Every Laurenvale couple receives complimentary access to our comprehensive Planning Guide and Online Planning Portal.

These resources help organise your suppliers, reception layout, styling details and wedding-day schedule etc. We like to literally keep everyone on the same page/s..

Styling - Does the Laurenvale team help with styling?

Laurenvale is not a DIY venue. Our team will do the heavy lifing, set up your reception tables and place the approved styling items you provide. Details in the Bridal Guide.

You still make it yours—we simply make it easier., because you wedding day is not about working, it’s about enjoying.

Beverages and Deliveries

Is bar service included? Billy’s Bar is an additional charge to your venue hire . Please visit our Food and Beverages page for further information. We suggest you contact Dan Murphy Yamanto for wholesale pricing.

When can hired furniture be delivered?

As Laurenvale is a working property with livestock and secured gates, all external hire items must be delivered on the day of your wedding.

Who handles the cleaning?

We do.

Laurenvale’s Event Manager and team handle the venue clean-up, allowing us to responsibly sort, recycle and compost waste wherever possible. Setting up and packing down is part of the Laurenvale service, so you and your family can relax and enjoy the celebration.
