Absolutely amazing. Right from the start Kathy and Paul were professional, welcoming and so friendly. They are in this for love and to make your day the most magical experience. So many different ceremony options, and all are stunning. We had to use the "wet weather" option on the day with being indoors at Blackwood Barn but the chandeliers make a beautiful romantic ceremony, we were told our wet weather option was better then some peoples best weather option . We got married 11.03.23 and can not recommend this place enough. Kathy has thoughtful options for everything. We used inseason catering and were told on many occasions it was the best wedding food and amount our guests had had at a wedding.

We are glad we chose to have our wedding at Laurenvale Estate and Blackwood Barn!
The scenery at Laurenvale was picturesque and made the perfect backdrop for our photos after the ceremony. Many of our guests (and vendors!) were impressed with the stunning reception hall Blackwood Barn and loved hanging out in the canape gardens.
Kathy and Paul are lovely, friendly and helpful people and are so easy to communicate with. They are really flexible and truly want couples to have the best wedding day. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly and played a huge part in making our day the best it could be! We would definately recommend Scenic Rim Wedding Venues to future couples.

The Laurenvale Estate location is absolutely breathtaking, and the Blackwood Barn is so magical and beautiful in the daylight and at night.
The way the two of them have crafted the location and the way the two of them work together to make everything come together was a true God send to Brent and I.
We could not recommend Kathy and Paul and the 2 locations more highly. 100% the perfect location and the perfect people to help will all of the planning along the way.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Paul & Kathy for their assistance and guidance to make what turned out to be a perfect wedding with all guests saying it was the best wedding they had attended. Starting with the ceremony at Laurenvale Estate under the newly constructed White Capella surrounded by breathtaking views creating the perfect background for amazing photographic memories. Then preceding to Blackwood Barn for the reception, a spacious dining area lit by incredible chandeliers creating a warm atmosphere for the setting we had envisaged. The first dance performed under the open air chapel was breathtaking creating even more memories in photos. Back inside to continue the party on the mezzanine dance floor. We thoroughly recommend Paul & Kathy they were there every step of the way , they generally love what they do and go above and beyond to make your day perfect. Thank you for making our daughter and son in laws dream day a reality.

I cannot talk more highly of this venue and their team! From the first meeting and walk-through to the last moment of the night, Kath was so detailed, caring and passionate about making our event everything we dreamed of for our daughter's wedding.
We bused our guests up to Laurenvale for the ceremony - what a view! This is a must! What started as heavy rain ended up being perfect just before the ceremony commenced. Just stunning. We bused back down to Blackwood Barn and had our welcome drinks and canapes at the rear of the venue. Such a pretty spot and guests were already raving!
The reception was perfect. I just love Blackwood Barn - the furniture, the chandeliers, the option to use the stage (which we did for the bridal party grand entrance and then later in the evening with a live band and area to dance) - this was a great option for those that wanted to party and dance, being a little away from the guests that wanted to continue to chat in the main reception area and still watch the party nearby.
Our daughter spent the night before the wedding with her bridal party in the little house next door, and then also stayed there for their wedding night. Such a gorgeous little cottage (amazingly renovated) and such a convenient option to add to your booking.
There was talk at the time of the upcoming new venue to be built at Laurenvale, and I can only imagine how gorgeous it will be!
Seriously, from beginning to end - nothing bad to say.
